The Cosmos S is stated to support E-ATX motherboard (Server Boards) but it only supports the board not the CPU cooler. The mounting holes for Intel’s server boards are not drilled onto the motherboard tray. I had to manually drill holes in it to fix the

1. COSMOS S support E-ATX but it's not support CEK CPU 8 holes, because there are so many MB manufacturers didn't follow Intel definition to design their MB. Otherwise, the server board should have the chassis from cooperate chassis manufacturer. Therefore, we didn't design 8 holes for it to avoid the installation problem. 2. Another reason we didn't make the 8 holes on the stand off back plate is because the material was made by aluminum, if we drilled 8 holes on it and it will decrease the back plate strength. That's why we decide not to use it for COSMOS S. For the further aluminum chassis, we will consider to change the stand off plate become to iron material to solve this 8 holes problem also not affect to the plate strength, Please notice our chassis specification before you purchase it.
