"We are happy to be wrong! It delivered high efficiency between 83.4% and
86.6% most of the time (at full load efficiency was at 81.0%), the main
voltages were always within 3% of their nominal values (ATX12V
specification allows them to be up to 5% distant, so this mean that
voltages were closer to their nominal values than required) and noise
and ripple was always low. Sweet!"

"All-in-all I am very pleased with the product Cooler Master has put out. It
performs astoundingly and is very quiet, yet at the same time doesn't create all
that much heat."

"Top of the line from Cooler Master comes the Silent Pro
M series of PSU which focuses on efficiency and silence. As shown in the
video review, the innovative flat modular cable design, quiet fan and
efficiency results give this a well rounded premium score in PCWizKid's
books. This is definitely a PSU worthy of a mainstream gaming system that
enthusiasts can count on."

The noise from the PSU is practically non-existent. In my test rig you can't really hear the fan at all and the rubber mounts in our case kept vibration to a nil. I would assume that the silicon grommet would have the same effect in a case that did not already have built-in rubber vibration negation pads. So, marketing claims can be put aside - the name "Silent Pro" is factual for this PSU. The Cooler Master Silent Pro M 600 is an excellent PSU for use in any home PC, office PC or even small server systems. It proved to be completely reliable in this gamers rig. It is a very sporty looking power supply and provides ample power for today's power hungry computer systems. It runs virtually silently and does not introduce much heat to the system. It cools itself efficiently and quietly.

"In
fact, the PSU produced about 690 Watts steady without voltages going below
their specification. The 3.3V and 5V varied by .1 volt at any given time. The
12V rail held true at 12.04 volts right up to the shut down point......CM
rates it at a typical 85% efficiency, but this test system experienced at least
92.6% at 600 Watts. Even above spec load, the efficiency was about 88%......The
Silent Pro M 600W is like a "sleeper" hot rod PSU hiding underneath
that cool, black exterior."

"Cooler Master has something here in the Silent Pro M 600W. What
they have is a nice, well performing, efficient power supply that doesn't make a
lot of noise. As most other units I've looked at there are some drawbacks like
the cheap group regulated design and the not so stellar performance in the
overshoot transient testing, but things like the above average regulation for a
group design and the awesome ripple suppression goes a long way. Would I buy one
of these? Yes I would."

"This power supply would be ideal for anyone looking to build multi core gaming /
workstation system with two video cards. It features SLi Readiness and 80Plus
certification. Currently, this power supply is not listed in Nvidia's SLi Zone
website, but I'm sure that this power supply can handle the newer the GeForce's
in SLi, as long as each card uses only one PCI-e power connector. There is an
adequate amount of power connectors, as well. I like the ribbon style cabling
that the modular cables feature, they are colored black and blend nicely within
a computer case."

"I'm very impressed with Cooler Master's Silent Pro M600W. Here's a quiet,
compact, high-quality PSU with flat modular cabling, high efficiency and a
five-year warranty from an established company. Cooler Master also includes
silicone vibration gaskets and black mounting screws. So what's not to like? If
600 watts is sufficient for your system needs, (this will easily satisfy the
demands of most systems) you'd be hard pressed to find a better choice than this
Silent Pro."

"The Silent Pro M hangs with some of the finest power supplies in many ways,
including noise level, thermal performance, and electrical performance. It is
uncommonly good, however, in its implementation of cabling, included bundle, and
overall design."
