After using the Cooler Master Real Power
Pro power supply for 2-weeks it can be said that this is perhaps one of
the quietest power supplies we have tested. The best part about it
though is you do not have to pay big bucks for big power with a price
tag for this power supply of $169.00USD/$179.00CDN.

The
results are great for this power supply, the voltages did not
significantly shift. Everything ran fine during testing; the system
was stable and performed the tests as expected. During the tests, the
fan speed did increase. It increased enough so that I could hear a
whirring sound over the testing system's fans and whining from the
fan's motor, but it was not loud enough to be of an annoyance.
Installation of the power supply was easy and there were no issues with
the non-modular cabling. There is enough of each type of connector to
go around, and even enough to power up to two video cards requiring
6+2pin and 6 pin, or four 6-pin PCI-express video cards. Overall, the
Cooler Master Real Power Pro 750 Watt Power Supply is a great
performing power supply that offers two 8 pin and two 6 pin PCI-Express
power connectors, and a five year warranty for around $120.
Pros +
-Power Delivery and Stability
-Two 6+2-pin PCI-Express Power Connectors
-Five Year Warranty

A
short time ago I would have said that I had seen enough power supplies
that very little would still surprise me. Well, The Cooler Master Real
Power Pro 750W surprised the hell out of me with its solid performance
and high quality construction. The performance I saw is in such stark
contrast to the price that I found myself retesting again and again
just to make sure this power supply really was performing as good as it
was. Cooler Master sweetens the pot even more by backing up their power
supply with a 5-year warranty and well-sleeved cables. Speaking about
cables, it is great to see a 750W power supply with a full complement
of 8-pin PCI-E connectors and cables that reach to nearly any part of a
large case. I can say without a doubt that the Cooler Master Real Power
Pro is worth every penny you spend on it. Thus I am giving it a 4.5/5
rating and our Dam Good Value Award.
Pros
- Very good efficiency
- Good voltage regulation & ripple suppression
- 5-year warranty
- Compact size
- Quiet

The
fit and finish on the Real Power Pro line is excellent, with a durable
black glossy paint, nylon wrapped cables and matching black connectors.
This does add some stiffness to the cables and with the unit not being
modular you will undoubtedly end up with some that are just in the way.
The size of the 750W is very compact, nearly equaling the footprint of
smaller rated units. The fan runs quiet at a medium level load, quiet
enough not to be audible over other case fans. It would be nice to have
a few more molex connectors available but the five that are included were just enough to get the job done.
The 80-Plus efficiency certification and impressive five year warranty
are normally only found on much more expensive, higher-end units. I
spotted the Real Power Pro listed as low as $100 online, which is a
steal for a 750W power supply of this caliber. If you are looking for a
good quality, higher wattage unit in a small footprint for not a whole
lot of dough, the Cooler Master Real Power Pro line is definitely a
good pick.
