Succeeding the popular Hyper 212, the Hyper 212 Plus carries on the legacy of providing a great balance of performance and noise level during high and low speed operations.

Hyper 212 Plus is Cooler Master's first cooler to be equipped with an all-in-one mounting solution that includes LGA 1156 and 1366. Direct Contact heat-pipe is now also utilized in this latest update.

"The Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus, despite being lighter, thinner, and having smaller heatpipes, is a better overall heatsink than the Fenrir."

» Details Good Value

Bigbruin: Highly Recommended : May 2010

"Getting back to the Cooler Master Hyper 212+'s price, it definitely offers the best bang for the buck and therefore also earns the "Good Value" award."

» Details Silver Seal of Approval : April 2010

"As we just saw, the Cooler Master 212 Plus provides good performance for the price......Not only does the Hyper 212 Plus perform well, but its performance is dramatically improved by the cheap (or free) upgrade that is an additional fan."

» Details Bronze : March 2010

"Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus is a good cooler with reasonable performance. It has a good construction quality and its fan is strong and quiet."

» Details Gold : January 2010

"The Hyper 212 Plus impressed me in most respects. The performance was better than I had anticipated, the mounting was easy and versatile and the documentation was clear. I also liked the fact that the unit had a smaller footprint with only one fan, allowing for easy access to the components and wiring around it."

» Details Supreme Value : January 2010

"Overall the Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus and Hyper TX3 are superb products that offer consumers exceptional value for money."

Thinkcomputers: 10/10 : December 2009

"The Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus had no problem keeping the i7 860’s temps under control, I was well pleased with its performance. An OC Load temperature of 59C is well within my expectations for cooling any of today’s processors......I found nothing that I didn’t like about the Hyper 212 Plus."

» Details : December 2009

"It’s hard to find much to gripe about with the Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus.  It offers far superior cooling to the stock Intel cooler, is compatible with all current AMD and Intel setups, is relatively easy to install, and even offers upgradability if you have another 120mm fan lying around."

» Details Great Hardware Great Value : October 2009

"If you need a cooler for your new 1156 Core i5/i7 CPU, we recommend both the Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus and the Hyper TX3. Each of these are impressive and up to task, and while each have their differences, both are great products and deserve serious consideration for your purchase shortlist."

» Details Editors Choice : October 2009

"When it comes to cooling your CPU efficiently and quietly, Cooler Master is the company to turn to.  We saw Hyper 212 Plus quietly eclipse the stock cooler on both the dual and tri core Phenom IIs – overclocked as far as they can go, given the overvoltage used in each case – up to +.2V for 720 X3 which allowed it to match 550 X2 in speed but at a much lower extra core voltage (+.1)."

» Details Must Have Best Performance : September 2009

"There is tons of potential still left with this cooler.  The Hyper 212 Plus is good out of the box, but imagine the possibilities with two high CFM fans!"

» Details : August 2009

"I was pleasantly surprised to receive a package containing the Hyper 212 Plus and Hyper TX3, both of which prominently tout LGA 1156/1366 compatibility (not to mention AM3 support)."

» Details Tested : August 2009

"If you happen to have an energy efficient processor (85W or 65W TDP) you'll get the best of both worlds by running the Hyper 212 Plus at reduced fan speeds where operation is essentially silent. In any event, the Coolermaster Hyper 212 Plus is an economical and well performing tower heatsink which is suitable for Intel 775 Core 2 Duo/Core i7 and AMD Phenom II processor. Recommended."

» Details : August 2009

"There's a lot to like about the Hyper 212 Plus: Heat-pipe Direct Touch technology, twin 120mm fan support, and a high-pressure bolt-through mounting clip system."

Bjorn3d: Seal of Approval : August 2009

"This CPU cooler fits perfect for those who need a better CPU cooler, but cannot afford the much more expensive CPU coolers out there, or for those who want a quiet CPU cooler for their HTPC computers."

Overclockercafe: Recommended : July 2009

"Cooler Master makes a good show.  The Hyper 212 Plus Cooler does a great job with a single cooling fan attached or going all out with two......The Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus Cooler is a great product worthy of being on a short list for your next build."

OCC: Silver : July 2009

"I feel that for a price of around $35 it offers a decent level of cooling performance with only a three degree difference in load temperatures between the Hyper 212 plus and TRUE when overclocked. It's safe to say that there is even a little headroom for a bit of overclocking."
