"The Skorpion bungee does a great job at keeping the mouse cord from hanging up on the edge of my desk. The bungee is heavy enough that it doesn’t slide around on you and the rubbery feet help keep it planted. The design of the Skorpion is very unique as well. CM Storm decided to give it an edgy gamer styling and it looks great."

"The Cooler Master CM Storm Power-RX and Skorpion is an awesome combination to have sitting on your desktop above and underneath your mouse.

We begin with the Power-RX as it has the great feel of a hard surface. This aspect of the pad allows for the mouse to slide back and forth with ease. Using a fast mouse like the Cooler Master Sentinel Advance II, we had to dial down the DPI settings a little to make up for the extra performance made by the change in surfaces.

What we did to test the accuracy that so many like the softer surfaces for we played several round of CoD:MW3. In doing so I did not witness in real drop-off in headshots. Overall kills also stayed at a level that I was pleased at.

With the Power-RX, it would be nice to see some smaller versions show up as many of us do not have desk large enough to support a mat of this size.

And now for the Skorpion. To me a bungee is a must have if you call yourself a gamer. With a device like this you do not have to worry about too much or too little cord length in the middle of a tedious battle.

Granted this is the first time ever having used a mouse bungee, we that it was more than heavy enough to not move around the desk. But then again I am a casual gamer. For those that really get into and tend to move around aggressively the Skorpion is capable of slide some with little effort.

But overall the Skorpion is cool looking and it works."

"It has a solid weighted core, and combined with it’s anti-shift feet, the Skorpion stays wherever you put it. If you’ve got the space for it, and are tired of your wired mouse getting in the way of your playing, then pick the Skorpion up; it’s perfect. And for $20, it’s a nice little accessory for one who likes the feel of a wired mouse in their hand but doesn’t want the hassle of dealing with a wireless one."

"Ultimately, I recommend both of these products. It is clear that Cooler Master is targeting every type of gamer while releasing more of the niche products to complete the Storm lineup. Having yearned for quality gaming peripherals without breaking the bank, I and many others are happy to see Cooler Master releasing bolder products. Instead of treading little-by-little into unexplored waters, Cooler Master has literally released a storm, and there is no sign of it slowing down until every gamer is satisfied."

"CM Storm set out to make an aesthetically pleasing, and functional mouse bungee to which they succeeded.

The Skorpion looks cool; it’s inexpensive ($20), and most importantly does its job well."

"The value out of both of these products is exceptional. Recon retails for $39.99 and Skorpion retails for $19.99. This is a very low price for a gaming mouse/accessory, and kudos to CM Storm for making a budget-priced gaming mouse. "

"The CM Storm Skorpion mouse bungee is a very unique item.  It does what it is supposed to do and keeps your mouse cord from getting tangled with everything on your desk.  It does not slide around your desktop or tip over when pulled too far.  It can be found on the internet for $20 which is a deal!  I was actually surprised how much I liked it.  So, if you are in the market for a unique mouse bungee, the CM Storm Skorpion would be a great choice."

"At $40, the CMSTORM Recon is a fairly inexpensive mouse compared to other gaming mice especially considering what it brings to the table. With a range of 800 to 4000DPI, the CMSTORM Recon can make you deadly accurate as an in-game sniper, or allow you to easily turn and spray bullets by just moving the mouse a fraction of an inch. The mouse was extremely comfortable, and the ability to change its colors gave it a rather pleasing aesthetic appearance.

The Skorpion mouse bungee and the Speed RXL mouse pad, while not necessary in order to use the CMSTORM Recon, made for very nice accessories. The giant mouse pad created a perfect gaming surface and believe it or not, I actually found the mouse bungee to be pretty useful. Mice cords can get in your way depending on how your work area, and the bungee serves to allieviate any such issue. In the end I would definitely recommend all three CMSTORM mouse products for gamers looking to upgrade their arsenal of gaming peripherals!"

"The Skorpion looks cool, it’s inexpensive ($20), impresses my son (big points) and most importantly does its job well. And to top it off it honestly made me a fan of mouse bungees. Now, if they could just give it voice controls so I could tell it where to walk on my desktop..."

"for those of you who ARE interested in possibly picking one up, you could do much worse than the Skorpion. It has a base set of functions, and it handles them all perfectly. The feet don’t slide, the weight is plenty to keep you from pulling it over, and the tail has just enough play in it to keep it from feeling like it’s just hung up something (which would be ironic, eh?)."

"I hadn't used a mouse bungee before this, but having used this one, I can say it is a useful product for competitive gamers. All it does is prevent the cord from pulling/dragging the mouse, from getting stuck, and from causing problems when gaming. For those who don't game competitively, and have their cord routed not close to a wall or some object, then it isn't really needed, but for those who do game competitively, I do recommend the CM Storm Skorpion. I've had cord pulling/dragging interfere with some multiplayer FPS games, and simply put, this isn't a problem anymore. This product is recommended for competitive gamers and anyone who needs it. "

"Most people will still be proud to have this on their desk, and mark you as a true gamer. If you’re like me then you use gaming mice at work, and I’m always glad to show off your superior rodent to your co-workers.

The Skorpion costs $20, which isn’t in the impulse-buy category, but is cheap enough for serious gamers that want to tame their mouse tails while branding themselves as “true” PC gamers."

You can control the amount of cord length you desire and it can completely disassemble for on the go."
