"For the most part, when you are looking to spend on features like these, you are endeavoring to pay anywhere between $70 to $100. Instead here, you are paying less for a product that delivers what it promises. The gripes expressed were minor ones that one gets past over time. And with gaming mice generally being circumstantial in terms of overall review, one can only express their thoughts on them from their own standpoint. From mine, the outlook is good. You have a product with all gaming nuances considered in an intriguing fashion. Although, it could have used a manual to help the inexperienced. You DID at least read this far, so you must have learned something from me, no? And should you want to try this mouse out, you may want to consider on of the CM Storm pads. I had the privilege of trying this mouse out with the Power-RX, a 350 x 450mm surface area pad with a special rubber compound – a smooth ride indeed."

"For being such a great mouse overall, the CM Storm Havoc is worthy of our Recommended Award. Its excellent ergonomic shape, good features with few gimmicks, solid construction, and affordability put it up with the rest of the competition."

"The CM Storm Havoc is a great gaming mouse at an even better price point. At just a little over $50, it’s on par with Razer's DeathAdder 2013 edition, and offers a comparable feature set and a couple extra buttons."

Tweaktown: Must Have Best Features : July 2013

"The CM Storm Havoc is so close to the perfect design, but the shiny insert compromises your trip, and the software could use a touch of tweaking.  Other than that, this is the most in control and features I have seen offered at this price in a gaming mouse."

      » Details Recommended : July 2013

"Ultimately, the CM Storm Havoc adds up to quite a nice mouse. The build quality is good, as expected from a product coming from the CM Storm line of products. The soft touch finish was a joy to hold and all buttons delivered a nicely defined click. "

      » Details Great Hardware : July 2013

"The reality is the Havoc is a very good mouse, and even downright mighty impressive when you consider the very modest $55 price tag. A mouse is an investment, seeing as it’s one of the most-used devices on a PC. We’ve seen a few mice that have slightly better features, or slightly better ergonomics, but most of those cost nearly double the price. The Havoc is a great all-rounder that comes with a very attractive price that should appeal to a wide range of consumers. Frankly, we think the Havoc is a mouse that you can just buy without even test driving it, knowing it’ll work very well for just about everyone."

"The buttons are superb to use. Their positive action, ideal travel and responsiveness all add up to the impression that the Havoc is a high-quality piece of kit. Plus, they’re not loud at all when clicked. Also, the Teflon feet allow the mouse to move smoothly on most surfaces. In fact, the only surface where the feet seem to catch is my Bristol paper board (where I do my photography)."

» Details KICKASS Gamemans Choice : July 2013

"Cooler Master Storm Havoc Gaming Mouse looks great, has LEDs, an Avago 9800 laser sensor capable of 100-8200 DPI, Omron micro switches, 8 programmable buttons, 128KB onboard memory, 1.8 meter braided cable and more. It's designed for a small to medium size hand, comfortable to hold and affordable."

      » Details : July 2013

"CoolerMaster continually impresses us with their attention to detail, design and providing the right features at the right price. WIth the Havoc, they’ve managed to hit a home run and keep price down so more gamers can get in on the action. "

      » Details Top Value : June 2013

"For $54.99 there is not a lot going against the Cooler Master Storm Havoc. It is simply a solid meld of two previous hit gaming mice from Cooler Master. While it does not specifically bring anything new to the table, it does uphold the functionality, affordability, performance, and aesthetics we have come to expect from Cooler Master, which is what matters most when everything is said and done."
