Unmatched performance for the value, these are the tenants that guided Cooler Master engineers when designing the Hyper 212 EVO. Patented Continuous Direct Contact (CDC) technology ensure that the heat pipes are free of barriers while drawing heat away from the processor. The Hyper 212 EVO is amongst the first CPU Coolers to support* the latest and greatest Intel Sandy Bridge-E LGA 2011 processors. A PWM fan ensures that fan speed can be intelligently controlled to ensure that it only speeds up when more cooling is necessary.

*Those that purchased the Hyper 212 EVO prior to the inclusion of the LGA 2011 mounting bracket in the packaging may contact us

"What we see here is clearly one of the newest CPU coolers on the market. Hyper 212 Evo has evolved from its predecessor Hyper 212. Hyper 212 has had a great success in the past and I am positively sure that Hyper 212 Evo will follow the same path of fame. Providing an exceptional cooling to latest chip sets such as i7-3960x Hyper 212 Evo has behaved very well. The installation and ease of use really makes it easy to choose the best CPU cooler out in the market. What bout the price? You will be surprised as we were when we found out that this cooler costs just 35$ USD (at the time of the review). This really make it a no brainier. Our experience with installation and usage was a pleasurable one and we would like to award Cooler Master's Hyper 212 Evo a perfect score of 10/10!"

"To sum it all up, Cooler Master's new Hyper 212 Evo CPU cooler has great performance, yet leaves a relatively small acoustic footprint. The included mounting solution is very robust, if a bit fussy to install, and Cooler Master includes an extra pair of fan clips should the user wish to add another fan. If excellent cooling and relative silence are at the top of your list when shopping for a CPU cooler, don't overlook the Hyper 212 Evo. It's a great cooler at a great price. "

"The Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO has definitely shown us that a product as simple as a heatsink can make several comebacks, so to speak; each time with a few new tweaks to better improve performance. Priced at around $35 USD at press time, we can't expect an epic heatsink that will blow us out of the water."

"For someone looking for a budget cooler for a build that may even see some heavy overclocking, the Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo is an excellent choice — especially for the money. The performance results and overall quality and simplicity of the cooler make it a very nice heatsink to work with and use. Installation is easy and applies even pressure, the fan clip-on mechanism is super fast and hassle-free, the fan itself is not loud at all, and the performance numbers are good. I will not hesitate to offer this cooler as my #1 suggestion to those on a budget!"

"Overall, The Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO is a good unit for an replacement desktop cooler, though it’s not an ideal option or someone looking to get into serious overclocking. Even though throttling did occur on our mid and full torture tests, we were impressed with the choice of fan Cooler Master chose to pair with their HSF, striking a good balance between noise and performance. We would recommend this CPU cooler for light to medium overclockers who are looking for good cooling performance without having to hear it. "

"The Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO to us one of those coolers that is over performing for the asking price. At $35, the price if definitely at the lower price range of the cooler spectrum and according to the testing that we have done here today proves that it is a pretty good cooler. If you are still using the stock OEM cooler from the manufacturer of your CPU, I would take this moment to run out and score a cooler like the Hyper 212 EVO. And if you are looking for better performance without spending much more money add a second fan and drop your temps a few more degrees."

"Cooler Master have a real winner with their Hyper 212 Evo CPU cooler. The Continuous Direct Contact technology combined with a wide range PWM fan produced a highly efficient and quiet (at lower RPM) cooling solution which offers probably the best price performance ration on the market today. At the current $34.99 price it comes highly recommended by Review Horizon for any air cooled setup you have."

"The Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO is a real evolutionary cooler. The direct-touch heatpipes with no gaps between them seems to be an excellent feature, managing to seriously improve the cooling performance seen on the Hyper 212 Plus."

"This cooler is great for any first time computer builder. Also, it’s good for an advanced user who wants to push their CPU to it’s overclocking limit. This cooler runs for $34.99 on Cooler Master’s website. I cannot find any problems with the cooler itself and I would highly recommend it."

"This cooler performed quite well, especially given it's fairly unobtrusive size. Installation was fairly easy, and multiple configuration options should offer an ideal situation for nearly any situation. This cooler won't be something flashy to show your friends at the next LAN party, but at a price point of $35 USD it is cheaper than many of the flashier options out there. "
